Update on the Tough Decision

We saw Dr. Cheng today. Spencer has grown so much. He is 53 and 3/4 inches tall and weighs 69 pounds. I am so glad he is finally putting on some weight because he is so thin that I have a hard time finding pants for him unless they have an adjustable waist.

His blood pressure was good which is good because one of the few side effects of Intuniv is low blood pressure. Dr. Cheng asked about his behavior at school and home and I told him about Spencer's difficulty completing tasks and his poor impulse control. Dr. Cheng recommended that we increase the dose of Intuniv and come back in two months so we can see if he shows improvement.

I am so glad that we can try a small change rather than looking at trying a new medication or a combination of medications. I have been really happy with Intuniv and the very few side effects that it has had on Spencer.

Oh and on a humorous note, Spencer has decided that Dr. Cheng sounds like Fez from That 7os Show.
