I have been so busy with school work and sickness/injury that I just haven't had time to update here. Spence has had a sinus infection, stomach bug, and cut that required a trip to the emergency room all in the past 3 1/2 weeks. Needless to say, it has been crazy. The cut came from being out in the yard cutting grass. Spence was not even close the lawnmower. A rock, we suppose, came flying out of the lawnmower and cut his leg. We spent 5 hours at the emergency room because we wanted to make sure nothing was in the cut. The doctor also numbed his leg and scrubbed it clean, something I could not have done at home. No stitches, but it hurt for a while and is bruised up pretty darn good. He'll get a nice little boy scar out of this one.
